Summary: A espécie Oryzophagus oryzae (Lima) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) é um inseto com potencial para causar prejuízos econômicos à orizicultura irrigada por inundação na região Sul do Brasil (Lima, 1936; Martins et al., 2020), onde, sucessivamente, é produzido cerca de 80% do arroz nacional (Conab, 2019).
