Internal Affairs Office
The Internal Affairs Office is a specialized and specific Central Unit, integrating the tactical management level. It is linked to the executive director of Governance and Information, and subject to the normative guidance and technical supervision of the Brazilian Office of Comptroller General (CGU), a body of the Internal Affairs System of the Federal Executive Branch (SisCor), through the Federal Internal Affairs Division (CRG).

The Internal Affairs Office tasks are:
a)Conduct correctional investigations at Embrapa, in accordance with the internal rules approved by Embrapa Administrative Council (CONSAD).
b)Advise the president and executive directors of Embrapa, as well as the members of CONSAD and Board of Directors on matters related to their area of competence.
c)Guide and provide support to other Central and Decentralized Units in processes related to their area of competence.
d)Guide, execute, and supervise the correctional process at Embrapa and the exercise of its functions, in order to ensure the adequate improvement of management and the fight against corruption.
e)Keep the processes and regulations up to date and functional, proposing to the competent authorities the updating of business regulations on correctional activity.
f)Plan and propose objectives and goals, as well as implement and monitor the performance and results of correctional activity at Embrapa.
g)Formulate and implement the Unit's tactical planning, exercise administrative control of activities, evaluate the results obtained, and execute operations related to its area of competence.
h)Plan, execute, promote, and support actions to prevent and combat illicit activities.
i)Carry out dialogue and promote the integration of work processes with the Units that make up Embrapa's integrity area.
j)Support the improvement of correctional activity within the scope of the Federal Executive Branch.
